Geometry of soil drip irrigation contours

چکیده
Purpose: to determine dependencies and develop a methodology for calculating the geometric dimensions constructing outline of local moisture contours formed in soil space during drip irrigation. Materials methods. The factual basis development was data full-scale (field) measurements drip-moistened their office processing. studies were carried out on experimental sites with different cover, represented by steppe, dry steppe steppe-desert types: chernozems (ordinary southern) chestnut soils wide range granulometric texture, water-physical properties levels pre-irrigation moisture, when ir-rigated emitters productivity from 1,0 6,0 l/h. Results discussion. During study, following things considered as determining process contour formation geometry: conditions characterized physical clay content, min-imum water capacity, bulk density level moisture; technological pa-rameters determined post-irrigation given depth flow rate micro-water outlets volume supply. Empirical depend-ences that allow determination linear dimensions, wetted area volumes are obtained according values: content within 18.0–77.0 % mass (DSM), lowest capacity 16.5–32 DSM, wetting 0.5 1.2 m, additional irrigation 60 80 minimum emitter 1.0 6.0 Conclusion. A system empirical has been obtained, methods predict-ing external shape, linear, areal volumetric have developed.

Effects of salinity and irrigation water management on soil and tomato in drip irrigation
In this research, the effects of irrigation with saline and fresh water through drip irrigation method and using two irrigation management strategies: M1, M2 (M1 is irrigation with fresh water in alternative with saline water, M2 is saline water in first half time of each irrigation event and fresh water in the second half), on the yield, water productivity (WP), soil salinity, plant height...
متن کاملStudy of Changes in Soil Moisture and Salinity Under PlasticMulch and Drip Irrigation in Pistachio Trees
In this study, changes in soil moisture and salinity contents in drip irrigation combined with white and black plastic mulches compared to no mulch (control) was evaluated. The experiment was carried out in two commercial pistachio orchards (Ohadi cultivar) with irrigation frequencies of 8 to 12 days with a total water consumption 4100 and 6170 m3ha−1. The study was conducted in a complete rand...
متن کاملAdvantages and Disadvantages of Subsurface Drip Irrigation
The advantages and disadvantages of subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) as compared to alternative irrigation systems are conceptually discussed. Each category (advantages and disadvantages) is subdivided into three groups: 1) Water and soil issues; 2) Cropping and cultural practices, and 3) System infrastructure issues. The adaptation and adoption of SDI systems into diverse cropping systems, geo...
متن کاملApplication of nematicides via drip irrigation.
Use of drip, or trickle, irrigation in agriculture has increased rapidly during the past 20 years. In 1970 approximately 50,000 ha in the United States were under drip irrigation, by 1985 the area had increased to over 300,000 ha (6). Irrigation has been used to deliver fertilizers and pesticides (8,9,14,18,27,28), and there are increasing numbers of studies on the application of nematicidal co...
